Contra-church Vatican II's Treatment of Hindus vs Catholic Church with Vatican I's Treatment of Hindus

Antipope John Paul II received Hindu "Tilak", which was condemned by Catholic Church as Idolatry Symbol. 
 

Antipope John Paul II has similar way with Hinduism which promotes Pantheism on his encyclical :

" At the dawn of salvation, it is the Birth of a Child which is proclaimed as joyful news: "I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people; for to you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:10-11). The source of this "great joy" is the Birth of the Saviour; but Christmas also reveals the full meaning of every human birth, and the joy which accompanies the Birth of the Messiah is thus seen to be the foundation and fulfilment of joy at every child born into the world (cf. " Man is called to a fullness of life which far exceeds the dimensions of his earthly existence, because it consists in sharing the very life of God. Life in time, in fact, is the fundamental condition, the initial stage and an integral part of the entire unified process of human existence. It is a process which, unexpectedly and undeservedly, is enlightened by the promise and renewed by the gift of divine life, which will reach its full realization in eternity (cf. 1 John 3:1-2) ...... 


The Church knows that this Gospel of life, which she has received from her Lord, has a profound and persuasive echo in the heart of every person-believer and non-believer alike-because it marvellously fulfils all the heart's expectations while infinitely surpassing them. Even in the midst of difficulties and uncertainties, every person sincerely open to truth and goodness can, by the light of reason and the hidden action of grace, come to recognize in the natural law written in the heart (cf. Rome 2:14-15) the sacred value of human life from its very beginning until its end, and can affirm the right of every human being to have this primary good respected to the highest degree. Upon the recognition of this right, every human community and the political community itself are founded. . . . . . 


In a special way, believers in Christ must defend and promote this right, aware as they are of the wonderful truth recalled by the Second Vatican Council: "By his incarnation the Son of God has united himself in some fashion with every human being".This saving event reveals to humanity not only the boundless love of God who "so loved the world that he gave his only Son" (John 3:16), but also the incomparable value of every human person. ...... 

For this reason, man-living man-represents the primary and fundamental way for the Church. "

Antipope John Paul II received Tilak was Condemned by Catholic Church as Idolatry, and this is True. Because for John Paul II, " Hinduism is also way of life to the God and way of morality ", while this statement is wrong. Mourya Sawant, The Last Hindu Rane Leader, was bounded with his hands and his foots on the Wooden Bed while he was asleep before he was beheaded by Portuguese Troops. 


Mourya Sawant as Last Hindu Rane Leader would be beheaded by Portuguese Catholic Troops as rebel and judged him as polytheist who would be destroyed because uncleanness. 


Mourya Sawant (died 1912) was a Hindu Ranes leader who led a revolt against the Portuguese Empire in 1912. (Note: on this era, where First Vatican Council is Last Council which was used by Catholic Church) 

Mourya Sawant led an unsuccessful Goan Hindu revolt against Portuguese colonialism. He was decapitated whilst asleep at his home. The Portuguese ruled over Goa for nearly four hundred years. They ruled Goa with a high degree of repression, and converted Hindus to Catholicism by force. First Vatican Council said :

  • " 1. If anyone denies The One True God, creator and lord of things visible and invisible: let him be anathema. (Note: deny The One True God like polytheists who believe many false gods and atheists who doesn't believe there is God who created the world and afterlife) 

  • 2. If anyone is so bold as to assert that
    • there exists nothing besides matter:

    let him be anathema. (Note: like Non-Theism) 

  • 3. If anyone says that
    • the substance or essence of God and that of all things are one and the same: 

    let him be anathema. (Note: like Pantheism) 

  • 4. If anyone says
    • that finite things, both corporal and spiritual, or at any rate, spiritual, emanated from the divine substance; or
    • that the divine essence, by the manifestation and evolution of itself becomes all things or, finally,
    • that God is a universal or indefinite being which by self determination establishes the totality of things distinct in genera, species and individuals:

" They give clothes to these gods as if they were men, but they are only things of gold, silver and wood, which cannot defend themselves from rust or woodworm. So, after clothing them in purple, they wipe their faces because of the thick dust of the temple that covers them. The god has a scepter like a governor of a province, but he cannot destroy the person who has wronged him. He carries sword and axe in his right hand, but he is helpless both in war and against thieves. This clearly proves they are not gods; have no fear of them.
